7+ months later....here's an update!!

Wow....My little one is over 7 months old and I'm just really updating her blog. It has been a CRAZY, FAST-PACED, HARD, REWARDING and LEARNING experience!!! I became a mother knowing I loved this little girl and not much else!! I now know what cry means what, when she's sleepy, when she wants me to help her with something, when she wants to be held, when she DOES NOT want to be held, when she is even trying to poop!! (i'll apologize for that now Camryn!) I feel like a super-woman when I can make her smile, laugh or just happy. My priorities in life are so different now, my family is number one so far beyond anything else. I look at my husband differently as he is my daughter's father which is so amazing. I am a lucky woman and I do not take this life for granted. Good night, I am going to peek at my daughter sleeping in her crib, kiss my husband and go to bed:)

2 weeks old today!

Camryn is 2 weeks old today! She is growing, becoming much more alert, and eating every 3 hours. She is up to 4 ounces of breastmilk/formula each feeding. She has already gained all her weight back and then some! Last Thursday she was 9 pounds:) Daddy is back to work and school and Nana is here during the week and is a HUGE BLESSING. Nana has even taken the bassinet into her room two nights so that mommy could just sleep and pump. We are going to the bank to meet all mommy's employees today and Camryn is wearing her hot pink guitar cardigan and light pink pants. I will put up photos! She also had a bath today and did very well! She has a bit of diaper rash so we will look for some medicated diaper cream while we are out. Camryn is a GREAT baby and we are so lucky!

Camryn's Birthday

Camryn Michelle Brown was born on Tuesday January 5th, 2010 at exactly 12:00 noon via C-Section. She weighed 8 pounds and 15 ounces and measured 20 inches long. We spent 3 days in the hospital and got to come home Friday. Daddy is soooo good with her, he is not afraid to do anything! He changes diapers, clothes, gives baths, and swaddles like a pro! He is slowly teaching Mommy as she recovers from the surgery at the same time. Mommy's major job right now is to make milk for Camryn and since Camryn doesn't love breastfeeding we are pumping into a bottle to get her big and strong! She is such a GOOD baby, eating, sleeping and hanging with mom and dad. More to come soon.

2 more days!!!

Tuesday, January 5th 2010 will be our daughter's birthday!! We have a scheduled C-section that day and our lives will never be quite the same:) We are so excited, nervous, anxious and ready to hold our daughter in our arms. Camryn Michelle Brown's arrival has been much anticipated and we can't wait for her to make her entrance into this world! She will join a family full of love and devotion to each other. Her grandparents Russ and Marcia, Jimmy and Sandra. Her aunts K.D., Mikaela and Sara. Her uncles Robby and Luke. Her cousins Jaeden and Lexi. Her "aunt and uncle" Chris and Jeanna. And her Mom and Dad! We feel sooooo lucky that Camryn gets to experience the love and acceptance of this family that we have throughout the years. We pray that she will know God's love through all of us. I will post again after our daughter is here!!
